Lock Haven Defeats Warriors in PSAC Women’s Volleyball Home Opener

Defending PSAC East women’s volleyball regular season champion Lock Haven leveled its conference record at 2-2 with a 3-0 win over East Stroudsburg University on Tuesday night at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Freshman libero Haley Mork spearheaded the Warriors’ defensive effort with 21 digs, the second time she has gone over 20 in the first 11 matches this season. Freshman Annabelle Charlton added four kills, nine assists and 10 digs.

Sophomore middle blocker Ashley Lesniak led ESU (2-9, 0-4) with eight kills and a .185 hitting percentage. Sophomore Allye Preziosi had five assists and eight digs and sophomore middle blocker Megan Plumb had four kills.

The Warriors will play a non-conference match at Philadelphia University on Friday night before hosting Cheyney on Saturday in two PSAC matches at 1 p.m.
