Wing King BBQ & Grille

By Maria Phillips

We all know the flavors; BBQ, mild, hot, and some sort of international flavor to add to the “large” selection of wings. All the bars have them.

What they don’t have?
Twix flavored wings! A flavor I was not exposed to until visiting the Wing King BBQ and Grille. The wings actually have bits of Twix on them and you can taste the chocolate with every bite, I’m salivating just thinking about these delicious wings. With wing nights on both Mondays and Wednesdays, and live entertainment available on weekdays, it has become one of my Main street hot spots. The “King’s Punch” packs a punch and with new specials every week, including .75 drafts, who can lose?
WK isn’t just your average loud bar, either. The place has a nice set up with the booths in a separate, quieter area. Those wanting the bar scene, can have it, with tables, two bars, big screen TVs, and music.
With a wide array of wings, Twix, Jolly Rancher, Peppermint Patty, PB&J, Teriyaki Garlic Butter, Thai Peanut, Reeses, Chocolate Martini, and many more, WK’s menu can leave you with a new flavor of wings to try each week. The southern cooking, including sweet tea, corn bread, and macaroni and cheese with your pulled pork sandwich can leave you feeling you were in the good ol’ south. Everyone can find their comfort food on this menu.
The place is new, and it’s still hidden. No sign has been posted, so for those looking for WK, the address is 628 Main Street.
Enjoy!
