Zombie Attack In Hawley, PA

It seems that the zombie apocalypse has finally arrived. As if the Florida zombie attack wasn’t enough to scare people into a frenzy that they should be preparing for the end of the world, Hawley, PA got its own taste of flesh on September 7, when a man ran around the neighborhood naked and bleeding.

The suspect was 20-year-old Richard Ciminio Jr., resident of Doylestown, PA He parked his car behind a random home on Hudson Street and stripped himself almost naked, down to only his under garments.

Ciminio tried to break into the house he parked behind, but his attempt failed, said police. He then proceeded to take off his underwear and successfully broke into a different house that was vacant.

Minutes later, the man managed to jump out of the second floor window where he suffered serious arm and leg injuries after he landed.

Now profusely bleeding, he stumbled upon two women walking down the street. Cominio jumped on one of the women, covering her in his own blood. Police said he then started screaming like an animal and began chewing on her head.

Luckily, the women were able to get away from the crazed man and call for police. The woman who Cominio jumped had only sustained minor injuries.

When police arrived at the scene, Cominio was lying on the street and exhibiting “delusional and confrontational behavior,” said police. After being tased by officers, Cominio was still far from being compliant as he punched an EMT in the face while being treated for his wounds.

Cominio was finally arrested after being subdued and taken to the Geisinger Community Medical Center to treat the serious injuries from his fall.

It is unknown whether or not Cominio was under some sort of synthetic drug, like bath salts—similar to those involved in the recent Florida man’s chewing off another man’s face.

He is currently facing several charges of aggravated assault, indecent exposure and burglary.
