Celebrate Earth Day

On Friday, April 26 we have the pleasure of honoring Earth Day in its 43rd year. This event is open to the public and will be held from 12 – 4pm on the E.S.U Quad. We are looking for clubs with environmental themes to set up informational booths to help spread the word – and the word is Earth!

Started in 1970, Earth Day has been used to educate people to use the earth sustainably, to inform the public about environmental pollutants, recycling, and opportunities to clean up our home.

We, as citizens of planet earth, have been given every opportunity to make better lives for ourselves. We have done so but at the expense of the place we love so dearly.

This Earth Day, make a difference! Share your ideas in personal booths, speak to the campus, sing your heart out! This April 26th, join your brothers and sisters, help us protect what cannot protect itself!
