On Saturday, March 9 Enactus sponsored its first Annual Clover 5K Run.  Each runner involved paid a fifteen dollar entry fee and the money was donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.

The event began at the football field, spanned through the campus and the surrounding town, and ended back at the football field. Even for the first time, there were almost two dozen participants in the Clover Run, and Enactus hopes to have it continue and grow.

Enactus was assisted with their event by Phi Sigma Kappa and Delta Chi. Members of the respective fraternities were placed around the route in order to keep the runners safe by controlling traffic.

Phi Sigma Kappa’s new member, Ryan Gormley, participated in the run itself and ended finishing first.

Each organization at ESU excels through the hard work and determination of its respective members. The assistance provided to Enactus by Greek Life shows that for our individual organizations to go further than ever before, it is instrumental to work together with others as we can all benefit from it.
