ESU Fashion: Fall Fashion Trends

Along with a new season comes new fashion trends.  Some trends from previous seasons are worth holding onto and can be paired along with new trends.

Camo, plaid, leopard and pinstripes were all over the fall 2013 runways and are great prints to include into everyday style.

Varsity jackets are being seen recently on all the top street style fashion bloggers, as well as embellished and graphic printed crew neck sweatshirts.

Leather (or faux leather) has also been making a major statement this season. From skirts, pants, jackets, and even shirts, leather is being incorporated into a common textile used in daily wear. However, be sure to not go other the top with too much leather within the same outfit.

Velvet and fur are other textured fabrics that have been predicted to be an upcoming trend.

Emerald green and cobalt blue are two colors that will be making a major statement for the rest of this year. Emerald green has been known as Pantone’s color of the year for all of 2013.

Reoccurring trends like knee-high boots are both a stylish and practical way to stay warm for the cooler weather ahead of us.

A few other trends to be sure to hold onto from past seasons are neutrals, metallics, statement necklaces, knit beanies, combat boots, maxi skirts, midi skirts, and wide brimmed hats.

A few favorite silhouettes that are far from going out of style and are great for many different body types are fit and flare and peplum.  These styles have been incorporated into many different types of clothing.

Some of the best stores to acquire these fashion favorites without maxing out your budget are Forever 21, SheInside.com, JewelMint.com, Zara, NastyGal.com and Tobi.com.
