East Stroudsburg University’s Career Development Center, is located on the second floor of the Student Union Building.

It “provides resources that support students at all stages of their education,” says Daria Wielebinski, Director of The Career Development Center

The center can help undecided underclassmen determine a career or major though on an online program that considers the students interest and goals.  The online survey matches students to possible occupations that match their personal preferences.

The center also teaches the basic skills required for looking for a job, such as Resume writing and interviewing skills.  For students who need or want Internship opportunities, register to “Warrior Careers” at warriorcareers.com for an extensive data base of positions available.

If Graduate School is the student’s goal, the center is dedicated to helping a student find the right options for them.

To kick off the spring semester, the Career Development Center is hosting the “2014 Success Series.”

The series of workshops is aimed at “providing career education for our current students,” said Wielebinski.

The workshops begin Tuesday, February 11.

They will run throughout the semester.

Any student who attends five workshops is entered in a drawing for the chance to win a Brooks Brothers suit.

The drawing will take place April 15, 2014.
