On March 18, the Wednesday after spring break, ESU’s Student Senate will be hosting its inaugural “Town Hall” meeting. The meeting will take place in Beer’s Lecture Hall at 6:00 PM.

These meetings will provide an opportunity for people to get information from different departments on campus.

There will be a question and answer session for anyone in attendance.

At the first meeting, Student Senate will be hosting Parking and Residence Life & Housing (RHA).

The following meeting will be Wednesday, April 1. At this meeting, Student Senate will be hosting Dining Services (Aramark).

More details are still being determined.

“We are encouraging all students available to PLEASE attend. There is not a more appropriate event and time to get your voice heard,” said Daniel Watson, a Student Senator.

There are many more initiatives that Student Senate sponsors throughout the year as well.

There is the Annual Budget Process, ESU Summit, and the Safe Ride Program. In addition, there is Student Suggestion Day, Weiner Day, the Club Fair, and the Teddy Bear Drive.

This year’s Community on the Quad will be Saturday, April 25. New this year, the event will take place on Linden’s quad.
