East Stroudsburg University will be hosting a seminar this week to help inform students about international employment in Germany.
It aims to help compare employment in America and Germany so that students can become more aware of the their respective employment histories.
Dr. Christopher Brooks, seminar organizer, says that the seminar is valuable to not only students, but faculty and legal professionals as well.
It will focus on the primary issues American professionals face when considering work internationally in Germany.
In addition to Brooks, speakers include Dr. Robert Fleischman who is the dean of the ESU college of business and management; Dr. Ralf D. Wiedemann, who is the honorary consul of the Federal Republic of Germany and United States Immigration law specialist; Dr. Eric Meyer who is a partner at Dilworth Paxon LLP and an employment law specialist; and Johannes Moosburner who is deputy consul of the Federal Republic of Germany and German immigration law specialist.
Brooks stated, “This seminar is hopefully a start to more discussions about the transatlantic relationships, be they business, legal, personal, political or cultural.”
This free event will take place on Thursday, April 16 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education Center City in the Mellon Independence Center, located at 701 Market St., Concourse Level, Philadelphia, Pa.
