WESS Hosts 4th Spring JamTune In for Musicians Coming from Near and Far

On Saturday 90.3 WESS FM, East Stroudsburg University’s Radio station, will be holding their fourth annual Spring Jam.

Spring Jam is a celebration of local and underground music. The event kicks off at 10 a.m. and runs until midnight and will feature over twenty live interviews and performances from band’s and artists, located right here in the Stroudsburg area, to bands and artists from all over the country.

The line-up for Spring Jam spans a variety of genres as well, including artists and bands from reigning from rock, rap, hip-hop, indie, Americana, alternative, and more.

Local artist and bands attending the event include former East Stroudsburg University student, Shakah Ptah, for his spoken word poetry and rap music.

Jonathan Arocho, the lead guitarist and singer for the indie-emo Stroudsburg based rock band, In Writing, will also be at Spring Jam, as well as the Stroudsburg three Piece, King Dead.

The band consists of Will McGrath (Bass), Kevin Vanderhoof (Bass), and Steve Truglio (Drums), who will be talking about their upcoming album release due for mid-April.

Other bands and artist to make an appearance at the event include the powerpop/alternative three piece, The Paper Jets, consisting of Brian E. (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Mike Virok (Lead Guitar), Scottie Maloney (Bass), and Frank Lettieri (Drums/Vocals).

Black Tie Stereo, the four piece pop-rock band from Scranton Pennsylvania will also be at Spring Jam.

Members of Black Tie stereo include Stephen Murphy (Keyboards/Vocals), George Pachucy(Drums), Aaron Kovalich (Bass), and Jesse Morvan (Guitar/Horns), and the hip-hop artists Sharla K. from New York, New York will be there as well.

All other artist and bands schedule for Spring Jam include Water Street, JayOmega, Syer, Blind Choice, Good News, Jesse Elliot, The Set Up, Broke Royals, Daniel Amedee, Austin Halls, Liv Wilinski, Panama Redd, Cal Kehoe, The Gladiators of 2037, The Artist Anthony, Ree Hunnit, Working Class Hussys, The FoxFires, The Remnants, John Van Vynck and Jonathan Emile.
