1. Once Upon A Time

Fairy tale and modern life collide in this show that follows a young boy named Henry who is convinced all of the people in his town are actually storybook characters.

With the help of his biological mother, Henry tries to restore the belief of magic to his small town in order to save everyone from the curse of the evil queen.

If you like anything that has to do with fairy tales or Disney and lots of drama, give this show a try. Seasons 1-5 are on Netflix, and season 6 airs on ABC this September.

2. Parks and Recreation

This show is a political comedy that follows Leslie Knope, a member of the Parks and Recreation Department in Pawnee, Indiana, and her fight to make her town better.

With a crazy, hilarious cast that is hard not to love and an extreme amount of character development, there is absolutely nothing to hate. This show will leave you wishing that the real Parks and Recreation Department was this awesome.

Watch all 7 seasons on Netflix and then try not to cry because it is over.

3. Stranger Things

This Sci-Fi Fantasy Netflix original takes place in the 1980s and revolves around the disappearance of a young boy named Will.

The search to find him unlocks a horrifying investigation involving secret government experiments, another dimension, an unusual girl with powers and a creature called the Demogorgon. If you love government conspiracy theories and the trends of the 80s, start binging now.

There is one season on Netflix, and the next one is in the making.

4. Criminal Minds

This crime show follows the behavioral analysis unit (B.A.U.) of the F.B.I. and their mission to profile and stop serial killers and threats.

The team is made up of unforgettable characters, and each episode is a wild ride of crime, friendship and some truly gruesome scenes. If you like Law and Order S.V.U., N.C.I.S. or anything having to do with solving crimes, you will love this.

Do not get too attached to the characters though because, spoiler alert, they will get ripped from you in an instant.

There are 11 seasons on Netflix and more to come on CBS.

5. Supernatural

This series follows the journeys of two brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester.

After their mother died from supernatural forces, they were raised to track demonic creatures. They investigate the things that not many are willing to acknowledge. With so much drama and horror, this show is sure to lure you in.

There are 10 seasons on Netflix, and the show has been recently renewed for its 12th.

6. New Girl

This witty comedy centers around a girl named Jess who has just become a roommate to 3 guys.

Each episode features a new problem faced by one of the main characters, and there is never a dull moment. Between romance, friendships and the ultimate search for self, this show will keep you laughing and crying long after it is over.

Seasons 1-4 are on Netflix, and season 6 will premiere this year on FOX.
