Noah Cyrus released her first single, “Make Me (Cry)” this Tuesday.

With family influences of sister, Miley Cyrus, and father, Billy Ray Cyrus, it is no wonder that Noah has also decided to dip her toe into the music industry.

Upon first listening to the song, I could definitely sense some influence from Miley.

Though they have similarities, Noah’s voice has a unique tone that is all her own and different than that of her older sister.

Touching lyrics of heartbreak combined with a powerful bassline creates a track that pulls you in instantly.

The track also features Labrinth, a British singer and songwriter who has previously worked with The Weeknd.

“Gave you up ‘bout 21 times. Felt those lips tell me 21 lies” they duet in the first verse.

I was definitely intrigued with Noah’s first single and can’t wait to see where her music goes from here.
