On January 17, ESU introduced its new institutional and athletic logos.

Along with the visual representations, the official revealing of its Warrior mascot followed on Jan. 24.

Upon first hearing about the plan to revamp the visual identity of ESU, I was apprehensive about how the final product would actually turn out.

However, I was thoroughly impressed with the new look, and glad officials chose to give the school a much deserved makeover.

According to esuwarriors.com, “The new institutional logo is an updated, bold version of the current logo.”

The image of ESU now looks brighter, and more modern to go along with our new digital age.

Corresponding to the institutional logo in major aspects like color and shape, the redesigned athletic logos represent “a unified ESU” (esuwarriors.com).

Above all, the best part of the reveal is the official Warrior mascot.

The Warrior represents the strong and unified community of incredible students, faculty, and staff that make ESU truly a place where warriors belong.

The excitement only continues as the ESU community eagerly awaits the new apparel adorned with the versatile logos that will soon be for sale.
