Whether you’re looking for the right Graduate school or ready to dive into the career field, the Career Development Center is here to help.

The center, located on the second floor of the University Center, has a plethora of services to help guide you toward the right career path.

Some of the services they offer include career counseling, looking over resumes, internship and job shadowing opportunities and more.

The Career Services link on the ESU website also features links to a self assessment, ESU job postings, an internet sights that can help your search.

The center is not only for current ESU students, but open to alumni as well.

The page is broken down into four categories, the first being “Engaging Exploration.” This is where you discover your passions and skills in life.

These elements help decided what career your skills fit into. The next is, “Precise Preparation.” With this step your career tools come into play and you
are polishing your resume, and dealing with those interview jitters.

The last two are “Optimize Opportunities” and “Attain Advancement.”

These stages are all about finding internships and job shadowing opportunities, and eventually applying what you learned into the real world.

The Career Services hours are Monday-Friday 8am to 4:30pm with extended hours to 6:30pm on Tuesdays, and drop in hours Wednesday and Thursday 1:00-3:00pm.

The future may be scary, but these heroes are here to help.
