A Bad Mood Should Not Lead to a Bad Life

As a college student, I have a number of thoughts and feelings that are constantly active in my mind.

The majority of the sensations I come across feel haunting, and all I want to do is give up.

Some of these sensations come from receiving a poor grade, frightening news, being yelled at, things going wrong, procrastinating, making comparisons, doubting myself and so forth.

Even though these appear, I am still fighting amongst the feelings and thoughts that occur.

The longing to drop everything does not reduce the feelings.

Instead, I am continuously wasting my time fighting to stay strong.

The reason for this is because I know very well that I would regret it if I were to give up, rather than if I allowed myself to break-down for few hours.

The more I grow up, the more I notice how people lose interest in making an effort to brighten their day or life, and instead choose to give up.

Personally, I enjoy living life. I always look forward to doing things.

A walk outside, watching a movie, or blasting up my music can make me feel even just a little bit better.

Sometimes going to see and do something new is wonderful.

I believe that no one should use the excuse of a bad mood or a hurtful memory to keep them from enjoying their day.

There are just too many pleasures in life.

There are certain things that may be more difficult to enjoy. However, it is a person’s attitude that controls everything that he or she does or says.

Therefore, if a person was to just have the desire to live life, it can make a world of a difference.
