Obtaining thicker and fuller hair, flawless skin, and healthy nails is every woman’s goal.

You see celebrities constantly promoting their amazing skin and bouncy hair and want the same look but at a lower price.

A quick Google search on ’hair and skin vitamins’ and now you’re swarmed with different beauty vitamins and many reviews to read, but do these beauty products really work?

Erica Douglas, a “Sister Scientist” reveals that Biotin, the main vitamin in hair growth, “contains high levels of vitamin B. Vitamin B helps to metabolize carbohydrates, fats and amino acids from our diet into energy, which supports cellular metabolism.”

Biotin assists with cell formation and growth, which causes healthy hair, skin and nails when the proper vitamins and minerals are placed in the body.

But do these vitamins really work?

According to naturallycurly.com, woman who started using the beauty supplement ‘Nature Made Biotin’, and ‘Hairfinity’have started seeing results within a month.

As college students, you are more exposed to higher levels of stress, and stress can cause hair follicles to stop growing.

By adding Biotin to your diet, it allows thd hair follicles to get stronger and longer.

Follicles of the hair are linked to blood vessels that absorb nutrients from the body and it’s these nutrients that help determine the thickness of the hair.

Taking Bition also can help strengthen nail cuticles, help with preventing rashes like eczema, and can even help with weight loss.

Although there may be positives of taking beauty supplements, there are also some negatives.

Taking Biotin over a long period of time can lead to acne and breakouts.

Any time you begin taking new medications, you have to be cautious because the new prescription can interfere with the hair vitamin and could cause you to become sick.

Also, it is very important not to take too much of Biotin, because it can lead to a yeast infection.

With the many pros and cons to taking hair vitamins, it is critical to look at both sides and look at the products reviews so your end result can be longer and stronger hair.

Additionally, vitamins are a simple way for collge student to maintain health in college.

With all the unhealthy choices the can be made in college, why not make a healthy choice that can benefit you in the long run.
