“At the root of everything that we’re trying to accomplish is the belief that America has a mission.  We are a nation of freedom, living under God, believing all citizens must have the opportunity to grow, create wealth and build a better life for those who follow. If we live up to those moral values, we can keep the American dream alive for our children and our grandchildren and America will remain mankind’s best hope.” – Ronald Reagan.

Those words are forever true. America will always be mankind’s best hope.

However, Mr. Reagan also said in part, “I suggest there’s no such thing as a left or right. There is only an up or down.”

The former President was as right then as he is now. President Reagan described America perfectly when he said America represents “the shining city on a hill.”

America is the symbol of what the world aspires to be, and a way of life people want to be part of.

However, what happens when America needs saving itself?

When a country is so divided and full of hate, that we struggle to function as a society, and fail our obligations to our citizens.

That is the dilemma we are in now.

Unfortunately, President Reagan can only help us through his words, but there is someone who is trying to save us with his actions. He is the only person I know who either has the vile hatred or loyal admiration of every person in America.

He has done more for this country and its people than some others who came before him.

The economy is an important issue to all Americans. We all want more money and are tired of seeing our hard-earned paycheck going to causes that we don’t benefit from.

This man’s ideas, and unwavering commitment to them, has helped the stock market reach record highs with America experiencing the longest bull market on record.

People are going to have better retirements thanks to their 401k’s growing. Unemployment among minorities has reached record lows. The median household income is at a record high

Two point eight million people are off food stamps. Record amounts of Americans are employed.

Blue collar wages are increasing rapidly. Youth unemployment is at a 50 year low.

America is the top crude oil producer in the world.

American companies are able to compete with foreign companies, thanks to this economic boom.

In America today, there are more jobs than people looking for work. Unemployment claims are at a 49-year low.

A new law went into effect called Economic Mobility, which reduces able-bodied adults enrolled in the welfare system.  Thanks to the largest tax cuts in history, small business employees are seeing pay increases, and disabled Americans are finding work easier.

Healthcare is important to all of us. We now have a law called the Right to Try Act, which is a bill that allows people with life threatening conditions to seek experimental treatment in the United States, rather than overseas.

Obamacare premiums were set to increase a while ago, luckily that was stopped.

Our veterans are not treated like the hero’s they are, on and off the battle field.

A new spending bill signed into law recently helped get them the biggest pay raises in nine years.

Another recent law offers veterans more non-VA healthcare choices, which will help end long lines and wait times for patients.

The Rules of Engagement for U.S. military have been restructured, making them more soldier friendly.

Our tax dollars are no longer being sent to countries like Pakistan. Record amounts of Government regulation are being cut.

Pro-America trade deals have been signed. Our courts are being filled with pro-constitution judges.

Soldiers who died overseas are coming home to America. A former Nazi guard has been deported.

A law is trying to be restored where convicted cop killers get an automatic death penalty. The Justice department just finished an operation that caught 2300 pedophiles.

Illegal immigration is coming to a screeching halt by stopping the flow of illegal aliens crossing the border. This benefits American college grads, by not having to compete with cheaper working foreign graduates.

The number of people overstaying their visa’s is also being cut.

The subject of my article has been called Hitler, a pig, a Nazi and all the other names the “tolerant” left in this country accuse their opponents of being.

However, what you don’t see on the news are the stories of my subject stopping his motorcade to greet firemen.

Otherwise, he is stopping the boarding of his plane to thank police officers, or the fact he got the Ellis award for his work with the communities of color in New York.

After reading this, can you believe that still so many people hate him? After all this man has done for this country.

This man has never smoked or drank alcohol in his life. However, he has been divorced and cheated on his wife.

Many say he doesn’t act ‘Presidential.’ He is not perfect, then again are any of us?

We hold people up to a standard nobody could reach. Perhaps its so we feel better about ourselves?

Perhaps its so we have an excuse? I’m not sure, but the not so perfect man I wrote about today is President Donald Trump.

From Ronald to Donald we are making America great again. We are trying to complete that mission President Reagan spoke of.

You would think everybody could get behind less taxes, a stronger military and a stronger America.

You would think.
