This week, we asked ESU students about a new occurrence in the world of film. We asked : Have you seen the trailer for the new Minecraft© movie?”

• “I never had Minecraft myself. I thought it was interesting, but not in a good way though. I think it could either be a good movie, or a really, really bad movie. Like, surprisingly good, or horrible.”

• “I want to say it’s a decent trailer in the way they’ve done it. It could turn out really good, or really bad. It also depends on how they use the physics of Minecraft and incorporate it into the Minecraft world. [On Jack Black’s casting as Steve]. I can’t really make out if it’s a good decision. However, based on his success in other movies, I think it will be a really good one.”
