In the early hours on Saturday November 15 around 1:50 a.m., a shooting occurred on the 600 block of Main Street in Stroudsburg.
The Stroud Area Regional Police Department (SARPD) responded to the call and as soon as the officers arrived on scene they located the 21-year-old man with a single gunshot wound to the abdomen.
According to the SARPD CrimeWatch the man that was shot did not suffer from any life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital to be treated.
As the crime scene was examined and the surveillance footage from the surrounding areas was also examined, SARPD came to the conclusion that the man was intentionally shot at close range by the suspect soon after leaving one of the establishments on the 600 strip.
The male that was shot gave SARPD limited information to help with the investigation.
In reference to the surveillance footage the suspected shooter was seen wearing a multi-colored North Face style jacket, along with a face mask and grey sweatpants.

SARPD is also trying to identify a second man. The second male is believed to have acted as an accomplice, being described as wearing a black coat and dark sweatpants.
