A good start to somebody’s day could be their outfit. Fall fashion is a crucial part of some people’s wardrobe. Some initial staples when it comes to fall fashion are flannels, plaid, boots and warmer tone colors. Specifically, red, cream and brown. Your clothing and type of style can define who you are as a person. That is why fashion is endless.
Some good affordable fashion basics can be found at Walmart, Old Navy, Target and Ross. Prices shouldn’t stop you from being fashionable!
A couple of ESU students who have good fashion taste, especially fall fashion, sent over their most prize possession clothing staple for fall.
Alex Martucci said that her UGGs/slippers are her most staple piece for the fall. She describes it as a “comfort yet, put together shoe, you could either throw it down with some sweatpants or dress it up with some jeans.”
UGGs can be expensive, so some other alternatives could be, “Bearpaw, Kohl’s, Target or Shein” According to Martucci. Dupes or “knockoffs,” can now be identical to the actual product. It is hard to tell which one is real, and which one is the dupe. So, in the long run the cheaper the better.
Another ESU student, Willow Scull, said that she loves fall flannels and is always in one during the fall season.
“Especially during the fall season, anything with a flannel pattern on it is a staple for me. It can be so easy to dress up or down. Throw it over another shirt and you have the perfect fall staple outfit.”
Briana Anderson, an ESU student, loves fall and the concept of fall outfits she has this to say about her choice of a fall staple.
“This outfit is my go-to for the fall! On those days when the temperature starts creeping down into the lower 60s, I know this is my trusty outfit that keeps me perfectly comfortable. Not too warm and not too cold. I love it because it lets me feel cute and express my style while staying cozy!”
Fashion is endless, not only is the outfit apart of it, but confidence is too. When you feel good about yourself with your outfits, your confidence shows. Your spirit can be very contagious and others will notice. Feel confident in your clothing and yourself. You look great!
