FKA Twigs released her fourth studio album, “EUSEXUA Afterglow,” on Nov. 14. This follows Twigs’ “EUSEXUA” album released in late-January of this year.
Twigs is known for songs like “Cellophane” and “Childlike Things” which features celebrity North West.
The singer is British and has a global following. She has 4.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
Twigs is also known for her unique style both in her fashion and her music. She tries bold looks and makes bold musical choices.
This album has a runtime of 40 minutes and features 11 songs. Each song on the album offers something unique to the listener.
“Love Crimes” is the first song on the album. I really liked the soft intro of this song that transitioned into the hard beat. Although this song does not have many lyrics, it kept me listening.

“Sushi,” the eighth track of the album, was my other favorite song on “EUSEXUA Afterglow.” I really liked the contrast of Twig’s voice with the beat of the song. It pairs a soft-spoken voice with a bold beat.
Twigs also uses a robotic voice filter in this song. The voice makes it feel like two people are singing the song. It is like Twigs is doing a duet with herself.
Another song that I enjoyed was “Lost all My Friends.” This track felt like a slight break from the loud beats. It still had a club-style beat but was just more subtle than the other beats. This song also felt raw and emotional.
“Wild and Alone” was the only song on the album with another artist featured on it. Twigs featured PinkPantheress. This collaboration was fun to listen to. Their voices blend so well together making the song sound smooth. Their harmonies were excellently executed.
My least favorite song on this album was “Predictable Girl.” This track was too autotuned for my liking. Usually, I do not mind autotune in hyperpop music but it just didn’t work in this song. The song was also hard to understand with all the autotune and sound effects happening in the background.
“Piece of Mine” was another track that I did not really like. There was nothing necessarily wrong with this song but it just did not stand out to me. It was repetitive and not super exciting.
This was the first Twigs album that I have fully listened to. I have heard bits and pieces of her music but never took the time to fully listen. I did enjoy listening to this album. I love hyperpop as a musical genre and am glad I gave this album a shot
This album felt unique and authentic. It was not like every other hyperpop album being produced right now.
Twigs has recently announced a tour in 2026. More information about this tour can be found on her social media pages and website.
