Metallica Rose Harrison, a 27-year-old woman from Towanda, is being held without bail after allegedly murdering her husband and 3-year-old son. The murders occurred at the Great Wolf Lodge on Oct. 12.

Police responded to the scene after a call was placed by Harrison, who, according to other sources, was suicidal and stated she needed police. During the 911 call, Harrison also stated that her husband and son were “already gone,” in the other room.

When police arrived, they discovered Charles Harrison and his son deceased on separate mattresses in the living room. Harrison had suffered multiple stab wounds to the chest, and their son had suffered one stab wound to his chest.

Harrison expressed remorse for the deaths of her husband and son in conversations with police. However, the family described her as “dominant” and “controlling” in statements to investigators.

The charges against Harrison are two counts of criminal homicide. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 3 at 1 p.m. in Monroe County.

Law enforcement has stated that these murders were the result of a violent domestic tragedy. If you or anyone you know is struggling, help is available.
