Things Are About to Heat Up at the Sherman Theater

Nothing can heat up the beginning of winter break for ESU’s ladies better than tickets to “Men of the Strip” with Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees at The Sherman Theater.

Men of the Strip,” a male revue born in Las Vegas, will heat up The Sherman Theater on December 19, 2013—just one week into winter break for ESU students.

Men of the Strip” is the brain child of Timmons, who decided to create a new show in his own way when Chippendales declined his idea to take the established name on the road.

There’s nothing wrong with a little healthy competition, right ladies?

Men of the Strip” takes “the ‘Magic Mike’ look to the next level,” said Timmons upon the announcement of the tour.

Timmons was inspired by watching New Kids on the Block members Donnie Wahlberg and Jordan Knight drive crowds crazy during their show.  Amanda Rose Timmons, Jeff’s wife, convinced him that he could do the same in a male revue, and that revue belonged on the road.

The “Men of the Strip” tour will hit more than 40 cities through the late fall and early winter—including our very own Stroudsburg, PA.

Timmons is a member of the 90s “boy band” 98 Degrees, which was a part of the hugely successful “The Package Tour” with Boyz II Men and New Kids on the Block in the summer of 2013.

98 Degrees reunited live for the first time since late 2001 at Hershey Mix-Tape Festival in August of 2012, and released a new album, “2.0,” in May, 2013.

Men of the Strip” tickets are available through Ticketmaster for $24.95 through $52.55.  The show begins at 8 PM.
