If you are sitting in your dorm, home, or apartment with nothing to do then the Campus Activities Board (CAB) has a surprise for you! Each semester CAB puts together events that anyone can attend.
CAB, in collaboration with the Office of Multi-Cultural Affairs and SSA, is hosting the Mayhem Poet’s event tonight, September 18 in Stroud 117 from 9:00 PM until 11:00 PM. There will be poetry by the students of ESU and an open mic. For more information, contact Tambria Lee (tlee@live.esu.edu).
On Saturday, September 27, CAB is offering their annual Stuff-A-Plush as part of the family weekend event. The first plush is free with your e-card, and any extra plushies are $10. Bring your family and friends for some quality time together.
CAB will host Salsa Magic, an interactive dance party, on October 3, from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM in the Keystone Room. Unleash your inner dancer for the opportunity to learn salsa.
For those who love to travel or shop, CAB has organized a trip to New York City on October 18. Tickets will be on sale soon.
Soon it will be Halloween and there will be a ghost hunt! On October 25, brave the night as you hunt for ghosts in the haunted depths of Laurel Hall.
Regina Sayles, an ESU alumna, will make an appearance on campus on October 30 in the Center Court from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Spend your lunch time with Regina Sayles!
CAB will host a bi-annual campus concert this semester. Last semester’s band was All Time Low. The artist this semester will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
For more information on the campus concert, contact Dan Pagan, Concert Chair (dap4880@live.esu.edu).
