Looking for something fun and free to do on the night of Tuesday, April 21?
Dr. Seid’s Special Event and Programming class along with the Student Activity Association are teaming up for Spring Week 2015 and putting on a “What happens at ESU, stays at ESU” themed casino night.
Come out and join us for a night filled with free fun, food and prizes!
The first one hundred students to participate in the event will receive a free t-shirt that says “What happens at ESU, stays at ESU,” and even if you arrive at a later time, there are still chances to win free prizes!
Every student who participates will be put into a raffle for the chance to win a variety of prizes such as ESU-themed long sleeve Under Armour shirts, sweatshirts, a blanket, coffee mugs, teddy bears, gift cards to Barnes and Noble which work at the ESU bookstore as well, and so much more.
Prizes will be raffled every half hour, so if you arrive any time during the event you have a chance to win.
There will be slot machines, a roulette table, poker tables, and black jack tables at the event for students to enjoy. WESS will be providing a DJ so the event will be lively and action-packed.
There will also be a green screen photo booth with fun props to make it feel like you are really in Las Vegas! Even the free food provided that night will be casino themed.
The purpose of this event is not only to host a fun event for students, but also to allow the students of Dr. Seid’s Special Events and Programming class to utilize the material that they have learned in the classroom and put it to use in real-life situations.
The group consists of students from the Recreation Services Management program as well as students from Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management.
These are potential career paths for the students and it is important that they have access to opportunities such as these to apply their skills.
The event will take place on Tuesday, April 21, at Late Nite, from 9:00 PM until 12:00 AM in Dansbury Commons.
Make sure you do not miss this event!
