As of Wednesday Nov. 9 at 2:45 a.m. Hillary Clinton conceeded the 2016 Presidential Election and Donald Trump became the President-elect and 45th President of the United States of America.
Though Clinton won the popular vote, she was unable to pull ahead in electoral votes.
At the time of writing, Trump holds 279 electoral votes and 59,370,253 popular votes.
Clinton holds 228 electoral votes and 59,595,237 popular votes.
According to CNN, Trump took 9 of the 14 key battleground states.
Trump and Pence will be accompanied to the White House by a Republican-controlled Senate and House.
