“Avengers: Infinity War Part 1”

The Avengers (Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor, and Hulk) join forces to stop Thanos, a powerful god who is out to collect all six infinity stones. Along with the classic Avengers, the group teams up with heros seen in “Captain America: Civil War” (Spider-Man, Ant-Man and Black Panther) as well as new faces to the group (Dr. Strange and the Guardians of the Galaxy).

For the first time, nearly all characters in the Marvel Cinematic universe come together to battle their most powerful enemy. Black Panther is seen with all his Dora Milaje warriors, Spider-Man wears a new iron suite, and even Loki makes an appearance in the film.

On March 17, Forbes reported that the film had already surpassed $1 billion in presale tickets. The total tails the second film “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” which brought in a total of $1.5 billion.

“Avengers: Infinity War Part 1” premiers April 27.

“Deadpool 2”

When we last saw Deadpool, he had finally told his fiance (Morena Baccarin) that he was alive and a disfigured “superhero” after saving her life. Deadpool’s best friend Weasel (T.J. Miller), enderly roommate (Leslie Uggams) and his getaway taxi driver Dopinder (Karan Soni) return for the second film.

Josh Brolin joins the cast as the movie’s main villain Cable. Zazie Beetz aka Domino joins as Deadpool’s sidekick. The official plot of the film has yet to be release. IMDb has the films summary as:

“After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.”

The film will be released May 18.

“Ant Man and the Wasp”

After teaming up with Captain America, Scott Lange aka Ant-Man(Paul Rudd)  must balance his life as a bonafide superhero and father. Similar to the first movie, the past comes up and Ant-Man finds himself on a new mission with the help of Dr. Hank Pym and Hope Pym, aka The Wasp.

“Ant-Man and the Wasp” will premiere July 6.

“Venom”

Tom Hardy plays Eddie Brock in the film “Venom.” We first see Venom in 2007’s “Spider-Man 3.” The character was then played by “That 70’s Show” star Topher Grace.

So far, there is no indication that this film will be connected to the recent Spider-Man movies.

In the trailer is extremely vague in its plot line. It shows images of what looks to be a medical facility, the “venom” coursing through Brock’s blood, and Brock laid out on a medical bed screaming in pain.

Sony has yet to release any photos of Brock in full Venom transition. “Venom” is set to release Oct. 5.
