Mirror Images

When looking through a mirror we tend to see a reflection of ourselves. A mirror allows us to see ourselves through the perception of others. The following piece shows two women gazing down into a body of water. One is meant to represent the women’s idealistic image while the other her natural self. Yet to an outside viewer; more specifically us, they are both identical in appearance. The creation of this piece involved the use of mixed media’s such as construction paper and digital software.
