Only critical style issues have been changed.

Seeking its fifth consecutive victory, the classy football team faces Montclair this afternoon at 2:30. Coach Snavely has been priming his squad during the past week for this important battle. The daily workouts have been carried on with the express purpose of overcoming the handicap which the height of the Montclair players causes.

Coach Snavely has a squad of twenty-four ready for action. Of these, fourteen had earned their letters during last year’s grid campaign. Rushin, playing the halfback position, is the only sophomore who has been in the starting lineup; while no freshmen have as yet been on the field when the whistle has been blown for the beginning of the game. However, Daniel Drigan has seen considerable action in every game; and John Natale, Nickolas Fedorka and Warren Zimmerman have also played.

The Squad

The probable lineup for today’s contest will be the same as that which began the game last Saturday. The lineup will consist of Dobra at left end, Richute at left tackle, Libertore at left guard, Monowitz at center, Funk at right guard, Hansen at right tackle, and Randon at right end. In the backfield will be: Kearns, quarterback; Rushin, left halfback; Zwerik, right halfback; and Marselli, fullback.

The ESU football team has currently improved their record to 6-1. Their next game will be against Shippensburg University on Saturday, Oct. 18 at Eiler-Martin Stadium. Kickoff will be at 1:05 p.m.
