The annual tree lighting ceremony will be held on the front campus this evening at 7:30 p.m. This traditional ritual will be conducted by the Young Women’s Christian Association in the presence of the entire student body.

The students are requested to congregate on the front steps of Stroud Hall and in the area below the porch. After the tree has been lighted, the group assembled for the ceremony will join in singing Christmas carols. This short program officially opens the college celebration of Christmas.

ESU will be celebrating this holiday season on Tuesday, Dec. 5 from 4-5 p.m. with their annual holiday lights events.

The event will be held at the front of College Circle, and students are encouraged to wear holiday fashion to help celebrate the winter festivities!
