Police Blotter Oct. 23 to Nov. 12: Hot Showers Now Setting Off Fire Alarms?

October 23- A fire alarm was set off in the third floor bathroom in Minsi Resident Hall. The heat detector was set off possibly by the steam from a shower. 

October 23- A student athlete reported cash allegedly being stolen from their wallet while at morning workouts in Koehler Fieldhouse. The student had said this happened more than once. 

November 1- A student hasn’t reported back to their parents. 

November 1- There was damage to a parked vehicle in the parking lot behind Dansbury Commons. 

November 1- A student in Hemlock Suites reported their PlayStation 5 cables were missing. 

November 2- Someone reported that a student in Hemlock Suites had allegedly consumed pills. 

November 3- Stroud Area Regional Police reported to ESU that they arrested more than one ESU student for an incident that happened off campus. 

November 4- Someone allegedly stole a bicycle from the University Ridge Apartments. 

November 5- A report was made regarding a possible theft from a vehicle that happened on Oct. 31.  

November 5- A noise complaint was made by an unidentified professor in the area of Koehler Fieldhouse. 

November 5- Information from YikYak was reported. Someone posted about shooting the school. The post did not detail a plan to do this. 

November 6- A report was made about a possible weapon on campus in Linden Residence Hall parking lot.

November 8- The Guest Ban Policy was enforced at the University Ridge. 

November 12- A welfare check was requested.
