ESU Fashion: Comfortable & Classy, The Maxi

Calling all ESU girls! Where are your maxis? All over campus, everyone is bound to find girls loving the newest trend.

From dresses to skirts, this style has really blown up. Starting in the summer, girls have quickly slipped into their favorite maxis and gone about their daily routines while looking fabulous. Now, it looks like these skirts are making their way into the fall fashion on campus.

Whether going out for the weekend or looking cute for class, a maxi turns a boring day into a day of style. Simply pairing it with a more casual top, you can be ready to go class and not look like you just rolled out of bed.

If you are going for a dressier look to go out for a night on the town, pair your maxi with a dressy crop top and cute shoes for extra pizzazz.

To prepare for the colder weather, get a vintage looking jean jacket to wear with your maxi to stay warm and still look fashionable.

Maxis come in all different colors and patterns to show off your personality to the world. They are also affordable which is perfect for college students.

If you’re running low on cash, stop by Walmart or Kmart, both which are close to campus,  and pick up a plain maxi.

Spice it up with cute accessories and you have a great outfit on a dime!

Other stores that are nearby and also cheap are Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe at the Crossings Premium Outlets in Tannersville.

Maxis will be going away for winter, so make sure you get yours now before the stores change to more traditional winter weather apparel.

How can you go wrong when you can be comfortable and classy at the same time? Do not let the length or style scare you. Girls of all shapes and sizes can look beautiful in a maxi. You do not need a model figure to pull off this outfit.

Hopefully girls on campus continue this trend into the fall and winter months. It’s a great outfit for giving presentations in class or looking cute for your crush. Bring out your inner fashionista and wear a maxi!
