Millersville took the first game going 6-4 while the Warriors blanked the Marauders in the second, going 1-0. The Marauders scored four runs on six hits in the first games, making the score 4-0 by the bottom of the third. ESU answered in the third with three runs on three hits, bringing the score closer to 4-3.

Millersville would increase their lead by two in the fourth, making the score 6-3.

The Warriors would respond with a run of their own in the fifth inning, but that would be the final run of the game. Millersville took game one with a final score of 6-4.

It was a pitching battle in game two. Both teams held the game scoreless through five innings.

ESU pitcher Nate Fiala held the Marauders to three hits and no earned runs through five innings, with relief pitcher Matt Durkin finishing the final two frames.

Both pitchers were able to get out of danger when Millersville loaded the bases in the fourth and sixth inning.

But cool heads pushed them through their troubles and shutout the Marauders in the second game. The only RBI was scored by right fielder Carson Freeman in the bottom of the sixth of off a single.

In the final frame, Durkin pitched a near perfect inning, striking out two batters, leading the Warriors to split the series with Millersville.

The Warriors play LIU in a make-up game on April 25 at home.
