It’s been an amazing season for the ESU women’s soccer. With 10 well-earned victories and only four lost games, the women’s team is eager to win their final games to compete at the PSAC tournament.

With star players, midfielder and forward junior Monica wood with six goals, foward senior Alex Pickett with four goals, midfielder sophomore Haley Skove with three goals, forward and midfielder Jules Sicker with four goals, forward junior Amy Strauser with three goals, and with the help of their talented teammates, are leading the team to reach the PSAC tournament.

Freshman Mauri Jackson, the goalkeeper for the women’s soccer team, has made a total of 31 saves this season.

The women’s standing record is close to match the 2017 record with 15 wins.

With the unfortunate lost of the previous game against Bloomsburg on Oct. 14, the girls have a strong mentality and positive attitude to beat their next final opponents.

The women are working hard and battling their weaknesses at practice to come out strong and aggressive to finish off their season.

The women need to keep up their moment to earn their fifth consecutive PSAC championship title.

The Warriors will have a tough and competitive match against Clarion on Oct. 27 at the Eiler Martin Stadium at 7:30 p.m. — the women’s last home game of the season.

Come out and support your women’s soccer team!
