ESU Student Stylists Offer Affordable Hair Services on Campus

Looking for a hair stylist who specializes in braids?

Well, look no further because East Stroudsburg University’s finest are here for any hair emergency.

It is important for ESU students to support other fellow ESU students.

These three hardworking ladies are fierce and talented, and they are right here on campus if you are in desperate need of hair care.

Yisela Contreras is a communications major concentrating public relations with a minor in business entrepreneurial and is involved in the Latin American Association and other clubs on campus.

Despite her busy schedule, she is an available hair stylist.

Contreras has been braiding hair since 2014 and specializes in crochet.

However, she can also do box braids, feed in braids, natural styles such as bantu knots, and she even makes wigs. She can also do men’s styles which includes dreadlocks and cornrows.

The next multi-talented lady is Jasmine Burton, a social work major and Vice President of Zeta Phi Beta Inc. and Voices of Triumph.

She has been doing hair since she was nine years old and specializes in tribal and lemonade braids which are the styles that superstar Beyoncé is wearing.

Burton can also do box braids, Marley twist, sew-ins, and weave maintenance which includes washing, cutting and coloring.

She can also braid men’s hair. She is located at the University Ridge apartments in building 8, and can be reached at (267) 325-2786 or on Instagram @jasbstyles. Jasmine even has business cards available.

Finally, Shanté Dorin, a business management major concentrating in accounting, is also on the ESU’s Women’s Track and Field Team.

She been doing hair for three years now, and she is ready to share her skills with her fellow ESU students.

Dorin specializes in crochet, which includes vixen styles but can also do box braids, faux locs, and natural styles such as twist outs, feed in braids and sew-ins.

She can do men’s braids and finger coils.

These three ladies are all from the Philadelphia area, and can do any textured hair and can flat iron, and wine curl any hair.

Their prices may vary for each style, but start at $60.00.
